This was such a explorative piece and I know can’t be easy to share. I’ve often been told by people I’m the strongest they know after what I’ve been through but I’ve never felt anything other than on the brink of breaking. There’s no medal for being brave, for beating our demons it’s just simply we must. Being reintroduced to poetry in a way saved me this past year and more specifically your poetry. And my writing brings me purpose each day. Thank you for just being you.
